ALEX'S MILLION MILE - Run. Walk. Ride.  This year, we are dedicating our team efforts to Grace Bumstead, our brave Ninja Princess who relapsed last Monday, August 7th, and is now fighting leukemia once again.  Please join us as we support pediatric cancer research and the fight against childhood cancer, one MILE at a time!  

For 5 consecutive years, our team has proudly supported Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) in an effort to move one step closer to finding the cure for all children with cancer.  With more than 1,000 AMM teams currently participating worldwide, we welcome anyone and everyone to join us as we run, walk, hike, and cycle to raise awareness and money for kids with cancer.

It doesn't matter if you can only go 1 mile or raise $1 (it might be the dollar that finds a cure) because as a team, we will go far and raise lots of money together in the fight!  Consider joining or donating and help us earn another Top Team Award for our Mile 26 Sports store in Ventura, CA.  You're never too young or old to make a difference!

TWO OPTIONS

1.)  Join our Mile 26 Sports team today by clicking the tab "Join the team!" located on the right hand side of this page.  We will log one million miles collectively during the month of September - Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. There are two ways to log your miles:  1.) Log miles manually 2.) 2.)  Select a Mile 26 Sports team member from the drop box menu, located on the right hand side of this page, and donate on their behalf!

FACTS:  Every year, an estimated 250,000 new cases of cancer affect children under the age of 20 worldwide.  That's almost 700 new kids affected every day.  And yet, childhood cancer is vastly and consistently underfunded.  Less than 5% of the federal government's total funding for cancer research is dedicated to childhood cancers each year.

Kids with cancer don't have time to wait. Your donation will go to research seeking lifesaving treatment, and the money you give has the potential to make an enormous difference for these kids and their families.
