Every year, an estimated 250,000 new cases of cancer affect children under the age of 20 worldwide. That's about 700 new kids affected every day. And yet, childhood cancer is vastly and consistently underfunded. Less than 5% of the federal government's total funding for cancer research is dedicated to childhood cancers each year.  We, want to obliterate childhood cancer forever!  This Monday, June 5th,  at 2;30pm we will have two lemonade stands outside of Pac Rim Elementary School.  One will be on the corner of Camino de Las Ondas and the other will be across the street at the crosswalk from Pac Rim's main entrance.  Please come to our lemonade stands and donate. Your donation will go to research seeking lifesaving treatment.  In addition, EVERY $ we raise will be MATCHED by the Piersol Family in Memory of their son Luke!  Let's DO this!
