On Sunday, June 4th, Buckingham will be hosting a lemonade stand fundraiser from 12-4pm out front of Mike Hess Brewing in North Park (3812 Grim Ave) to support Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a childhood cancer research organization. You don't have to be local to participate, as online donations are welcomed as well! (Sorry, you don't get to enjoy our lemonade or doggie kisses though!)

 

Gabi's cousin, Max, died at age 17 of neuroblastoma, a very rare cancer that often affects children aged 5 or younger. He and his family worked closely with Alex’s throughout his treatment, so this one is pretty near and dear. 

 

All money raised will go directly towards research to find better cures and treatment for childhood cancer. Our goal is $250 which would fund five hours of research! It's a modest goal, but we know budgets are tight, so anything to help us get there would be amazing! 

 

There is no pressure whatsoever to come by or donate. Feel free to pass along to anyone you think might be interested.
