Where
On the last day of school, the Bowman boys and friends will be holding a lemonade stand to, in their words, "kick the butt" of childhood cancer. If you live in Green Valley, Wilson school district, or the surrounding areas, please stop by after lunch between 12;30 and 3:30 on June 9 at 107 New York Avenue for a cold glass of lemonade, a pretzel and to play for a bit. If you live farther away, please consider donating the amount you might spend on a cup of lemonade through this web page.
All proceeds will go to the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation to move one step closer to finding a cure for all children with cancer!
Why?
A few years ago we met an awesome big kid, Colin Delaney, at a magical place called The Toybrary. Since then, he's been gallantly fighting a tough type of cancer and inspiring us along the way through his strength, humor and amazing family support. His struggle has really opened our eyes to the inequities in childhood cancer research, which is why we're hosting this lemonade stand.
You can join me by helping me plan this event, attending my event, or making a donation right to this page. The money you donate will pay for research to find better treatments and cures for childhood cancer. Please help kids and their families by providing desperately needed hope! Thanks for your support!
