Hi, all!  As some of you know, I've been on a personal "journey" over the last year and a half or so to drop some weight and just get healthier.  As I worked toward my personal goal, I took up running (well, jogging) as an exercise.  While I always HATED running, as I worked at it, I gradually started to enjoy it more and the feeling of accomplishment it provided.  Now that I've reached my weight loss goal (100 lbs.- yeah!!), to help me stay inspired and keep working, I've set my sights on running my first half-marathon (I never, ever thought I'd say that!)

I'll be running in the Walt Disney World (of course!) half-marathon in January, and in order to give my training a bit more purpose, I'm joining with Team Lemon to help Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation move one step closer to finding a cure for all children with cancer!
