Every year, an estimated 250,000 new cases of cancer affect children under the age of 20 worldwide. That's about 700 new kids affected every day. And yet, childhood cancer is vastly and consistently underfunded. Less than 5% of the federal government's total funding for cancer research is dedicated to childhood cancers each year.

As a family, Mike and I, we wanted to take the opportunity to try and do something to help in the fight. We know a family who are affected daily by childhood cancer and realized we are very fortunate day in and day out that Ryan is healthy and developing in stride. 

In honor of Ryan's first birthday and childhood cancer awareness month we are asking our guest to donate in lieu of gifts. We thank you in standing with us in this fight against childhood cancer and can't wait for you to join us in the celebration of Ryan's first year of life!
