I'll be running in the 3 Beach Minimum Half Marathon on  Saturday, September 30. I was inspired to finish my first half marathon by how strong my cousin and her family have been, and have decided to continue to run to help raise awareness for childhood cancer research. It's a cause near and dear many people's hearts, but especially our family's as we've watched our cousin's brave son, Sully, fight cancer over the past four years. Funds are donated to research (many of Sully's treatments have been new trials as not many children past the age of 3 are diagnosed with neuroblastoma), and helping families with costs associated with treatment.
