Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) is dedicated to raising money and awareness of childhood cancer causes and to encourage and empower others, especially children, to get involved and make a difference for children with cancer.
It all started with Alexandra "Alex" Flynn Scott, a young girl who was tragically diagnosed with a pediatric cancer called neuroblastoma just two days before her first birthday. At age four, in spite of her failing health, Alex held a lemonade stand to raise money to help other children with cancer. Each year, she and her older brother selflessly held “Alex's Lemonade Stand for Childhood Cancer" on her family's front lawn. Before she died at age eight in 2004, Alex raised more than $1 million to help find a cure for the disease that took her life.
Alex is a shining example of what one person can do to make a difference. Having known people who fought and died of cancer, we can only imagine the strength and courage it took for Alex to move beyond her tragic circumstances and spend her energy and time to help others.
Please join TEAM ONE LOVE by making a donation right to this page. The money you donate will pay for research to find better treatments and cures for childhood cancer. Please help kids and their families by providing desperately needed hope!
Team One Love will also be selling lemonade locally to raise money as well. We'll keep you posted on dates, locations and times. If you're in the area please stop by!
