The McMahon family in Boston would like to thank all of you for your continued thoughts, prayers, and support for Kiera over the last couple years.  Kiera started her first day of Kindergarten this month!!
Kiera’s was previously diagnosed with advanced stage Neuroblastoma.  The strength and resiliency she demonstrated through her treatments was awe inspiring.  In just 11 months, Kiera had battled through 8 rounds of chemo, 2 surgeries, 2 bone marrow transplants and 3 weeks of radiation.  Mom & Dad are incredibly fortunate to have had access to the best pediatric cancer expertise and research in the world in Boston and they are thankful for all of the care provided by the doctors, nurses, social workers and child life specialists at Children’s Hospital.
 
As a result of Kiera’s strength and the treatment received at Children’s, Kiera was excited to announce that her Neuroblastoma is currently in remission (as of last year).
