On April 21st and 22nd, the boys and I will be running various races as part of the Disney World Star Wars Half Marathon - the Dark Side.  I will be running the Dark Side Challenge, which consists of a 10K on Saturday and a Half-Marathon on Sunday and the boys will be running the kids races on Saturday.  This will be our first family vacation since Logan's diagnosis that is not related to cancer in any way, this trip is about family and for the first time in 4 years, the Smith family will all be together.

While Logan may be done with treatment, he suffers the side effects of treatment on a daily basis.  From mobility issues to issues at school, every day is a struggle for kids who have battled cancer and Logan is no different.  While this trip has nothing to do with cancer, we want to continue our theme of running major races in honor of children fighting cancer and to raise funds to help in the fight.
