~~Aiden began donating for his 8th birthday by sending care packages to troops overseas. The following two years he donated to our local homeless shelter and animal shelter. This year he wanted to help kids with cancer. He researched different organizations and hospitals and chose to support Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation this year not only because it started with a child, but also because it supports various research and families.
The founder, Alex Scott, started Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation with one front yard lemonade stand at four years old. Today, ALSF has raised over $150 million and has funded over 800 research grants at institutions around the U.S. and Canada. It all started with one cup of lemonade.
