This year our Alex's Lemonade Stand is a lot more personal. A few weeks ago, one of our technicians came to us and told us about a baby in our area who is a friend of his family, Kensley Grace Seevers.

Kensley Grace Seevers is a bright eyed and beautiful one year old little girl. She has always been full of laughter and joy - it seems to radiate off of her! She has three amazing big sisters, Addison, Katelynn, and Mckayla, and her two loving parents, Brian and Sarah Seevers. However, on April 14th, 2018 her family received upsetting news - their little angel was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, a rare cancer of the blood and bone marrow that affects white blood cells. Everyone was stunned. Kensley's prognoses is excellent considering her overall health is otherwise perfect. But the treatment is a long and expensive process. Kensley will be going through several rounds of chemotherapy over the next two and a half years. Her parents will both need to take time off of work to make sure their little girl is taken care of.
