I'm holding a 5K Walk Fundraiser in honor of my friend Christy Petty Bitto's Daughter Julia who is fighting Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG).  A rare pediatric brain tumor.

Currently researchers are still working on a cure for DIPG.  Surgical resection is not possible in DIPG because the normal brain tissue cannot be separated from the tumor.  The current standard of care prescribed to treat DIPG's is radiation therapy.  However, radiation therapy only serves to stabilize the symptoms temporarily.  It is our hope that through greater awareness, more funding will be granted for research leading to better treatment options, and ultimately a cure.

  All Proceeds from this event will go to DIPG rersearch in Julia's name.  Join me by helping to plan this event, attending the walk, and/or making a donation right to this page.  The money you donate will pay for research to find better treatments and hopefully a cure for DIPG.  Please help kids like Julia and their family by providing desperately need hope!  Thanks for your support!

Additionally there will be a Lemonade stand and a bake sale during the event.    Rain or Shine Free Parking  All proceeds go to DIPG research.  No cost to attend I just ask that you please donate what you can.
