at Citizen Schools

The students from the Kick It with Starbucks apprenticeship of the Citizen Schools Eastway Middle School campus have been working with volunteer Citizen Teacher Elissa Colich from Starbucks this semester to learn how to market and execute a charity event for their community. Inspired by a love of helping other children and of course a love for playing kickball, the students chose Kick It as their charity of choice to help raise money for kids with cancer. Not only are they hosting a kickball tournament, but have also planned lots of other fun activities for the whole community to enjoy.
