"Kick for the Cure" I am starting this event to bring awareness to the campus and community about Childhood Cancer. Every day, 36 children in the U.S. are diagnosed with cancer. The average age of diagnosis is 6 years old. There are 40,000 children in treatment for cancer. 13,500 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and 1 in every 5 children won't make it.
