Hi, my name is Andrew Curl. I am a Junior at Mayfield High School located just East of Cleveland, Ohio.
I am the Placekicker for the Mayfield Wildcats' Varsity Football Team. I also play on the Mayfield High School Men's Varsity Soccer team as Striker.
Cancer has claimed the lives of too many people, including several members of my family. The idea of kids facing cancer is unimaginable! I have been inspired this year by a very brave classmate at Mayfield High School who is fighting brain cancer. I wanted to do something to help.
The Kick It program allows student athletes to help raise money for Kids' Cancer Research, with the hope that we can cure Cancer some day soon!
Please join me in this fight. For every point I score on the Football or Soccer field this season, I am pledging $1.00, and my mom is pledging $5.00. Friends, family, classmates, or anyone who cares about Kids with Cancer can help, too! You can sign up to donate an amount for each point I score, or you can make a single donation. Small amounts are welcome! Every cent, every dollar counts!
Thank you for joining me on this journey. I am really excited about doing something to help kids, so, hopefully, they and their families never have to worry about fighting cancer again! Every kid deserves to enjoy life to the fullest and dream about their futures!
Many thanks to my corporate sponsors -- Drees Homes (my mom's employer), and BlueGray Communications (the Company who built my website), and to Simcon Homes, my step-dad, and uncle's company, Allan & Rodney Simon.
Sincerely,
Andrew Curl
