JOHN MILLER AND THE VALWOOD VALIANTS ARE TEAMING UP WITH KICK-IT TO FIND A CURE FOR PEDIATRIC CANCER.
Hello again. First I want to thank all of our supporters from the 2016 football season for helping us be the 3rd highest fundraising event for Kick-It nationwide. Kick-It is a charitable organization whose purpose is to raise money to find a cure for pediatric cancer. As I begin my senior year as the starting kicker and punter for Valwood School, I want to again dedicate the season to helping these unfortunate children and their families.
Everyone knows someone that has been touched by this horrible disease. My mother is a cancer survivor. Our head coach and his brother, our defensive coordinator, lost a brother to cancer in 2003. The mother of one of my teammates and one of our cheerleader's mother are both currently fighting cancer.
"For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required." God blessed me with the ability to kick a football. I think it's a wonderful thing that I can utilize this gift to help children defeat what used to be a death sentence. I'm asking that you pledge to help me do that.
Please support me by clicking on PLEDGE NOW or DONATE NOW at the top of the screen. If you choose to make a pledge, last year I scored 41 points. For example, $2 per point times 41 points = $82.
PLEASE HELP THE VALIANTS AND ME HELP THE KIDS IN NEED!
