My name is Taylor Hughes, and I am the kicker for the Pontotoc High School football team in Pontotoc, Mississippi. And YES, I am a GIRL!! Being the first female kicker in North Mississippi has opened so many doors for me and created some amazing connections otherwise I wouldn't have had the opportunity to have. I not only want to show young girls that they can do anything they put their mind to, but also that you can use your athletic, God given talents, for a greater cause! I want my 2018 season to be just that and I believe raising funds for childhood cancer is a great way to fulfill that purpose. I want my football experience to be more than just playing a game!
I am no stranger to cancer. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 and I saw the struggles she faced everyday. I can't imagine children having to fight this ugly disease and what their parents go through during these battles. I want to use my skills that God has given me to help others and make a difference in children's lives. And in order to do that, I need your help! Let's work together to beat pediatric cancer! With every PAT and field goal I makie this season, you'll score big for kids with cancer.
To PLEDGE, simply click the "PLEDGE NOW" button. Example: $3.00 per point X 42 points=$126 (Last season I scored 42 points). You may also make a one-time donation towards my goal by clicking the "DONATE NOW" button.
Please join me by giving cancer a "kick" through the goal post and joining us in the fight against cancer "one kick at a time"...because together we can and will make a difference!
