Let's do it!! Join us for our 1st ANNUAL Kick-It for Children's Cancer Kickball Game. It's Layla's birthday, so what a better way to celebrate than to throw on something purple, get out there and have some fun! It doesn't matter if you are a kickball pro or athletically challenged. We are doing this to raise awareness and money to cure childhood cancer. How can you help? Come join our team and get the word out to help us meet our goal. You can play or just show up and support us. ANYONE is welcome (kids too...especially kids!). It does not matter if you knew Layla or not. We want to get as many people to show up as possible, all while raising money for a great cause AND celebrating one amazing little girl. This is meant to be a fun day! Can't make it? Why not think about donating to Children's Cancer Research? No amount is too small.There will be a BBQ immediately following the game. BYOB.Oh, and anyone that raises $30 or more will receive a Kick-It tshirt as well!!Some NEW information!! We have broken our giant Team Purple into 4 teams. I put the kids and the adults in two columns and numbered them off to separate everyone into different teams. We thought this would be a fun way to get to play with each other and maybe get to know someone you might not know. Of course, we can always switch it up. (I haven't moved anyone over into their according teams yet, because I wasn't sure how to do that w/o losing the players with donations already). We are going to play 2 teams against each other, then the other two and finally, play the two winners of the first two games. It will be loads of fun! Can't wait to see you all out there on Sunday :) Thanks for working to get the word out.NOTE TO PLAYERS: Don't forget sunscreen and a water bottle! You may even want to bring a camp chair or blanket to sit on if you'd like. We will have food and additional water and Gatorade!
