We all have either been directly, or indirectly, affected by cancer at some point in our lives. I am looking forward to doing my part to help raise funds to continue the fight against this horrific opponent. Competitive could have been my middle name. Which is why I am looking forward to hitting the field to "kick balls" and also help kick Cancer! Join me, won't you? :)

A lot of time and effort is poured in to all cancer research every year and we all know its still not enough. If we are not effected directly, you can usually find someone close that has had to support a loved one through that tough time. Kick It is driven to help the cancer research for children specifically!

We have one simple goal- to accelerate a cure for children with cancer. No parent should have to watch a child wait for a cure. By making a donation, you are helping thousands of children fighting cancer in your hometown and across the country.

I am excited to participate in this year's Kick-It for Cancer event at Progressive Field on August 11th!

I am playing to raise money to help the thousands of children fighting cancer across the country, and I hope you can support me with my fundraising efforts!

I am dusting off my middle school kickball skills...look out.

When I lost my mother to breast cancer in 2008, I vowed to make sure that I would be active in the fight to further cancer research. I've participated in several American Cancer Society events as well as the Walk for the Cure, but I am always looking to help with other opportunities. When I got to hear about Quinn's story and the Flashes of Hope organization, I knew instantly that it was something I wanted to be a part of.

I am excited to participate in this year's Kick-It for Cancer event at Progressive Field on August 11th and can't wait to play. I know our team will not only meet but exceed fundraising expectations! I am proud and honored to be a small part of this great event!

I've had too many friends and family affected by childhood cancer. It's important that we keep doing the research to find better treatments and one day find a cure.
