Each day there are 700 new cases of childhood cancer around the world, with approximately 250,000 cases affecting children under the age of 20 each year. And yet, childhood cancer is vastly underfunded with less than 4% of the federal government's total funding for cancer research is dedicated to childhood cancers each year.

Today, ALSF has raised over $150 million and has funded over 800 research grants at institutions around the U.S. and Canada.
