It was just a few weeks ago when I heard the words “Ella was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).” Ella is the daughter of Kate and Dave Borowski. Amazing people with big hearts who have been a part of my life for a very long time. Ella is only 6 years old. She’s a beautiful, bright, petite little girl with a personality that’s six feet tall. Her smile is contagious and her heart is made of gold. When I heard the news, it took a minute to sink in, and then I cried. I cried because I was sad. I cried because I was scared. I cried because I was mad. I felt helpless. Until now. Not only can I help, but WE can help.
