Sam was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia when he was 2 1/2 years old. Standard treatment for ALL is 3 1/2 years and Sam has about 7 months left of treatment. The treatment is long and exhausting and has so many side effects that he will need to manage for years to come.
