I'm holding a fundraiser to help Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation move one step closer to finding a cure for all children with cancer! As most of you know, my 9-year old daughter (Addison) passed away last September after a long seven-year battle with a brain tumor.  During that time my family and I traveled a lot seeking out the best medical treatments that we could find.  One of the organizations that we came across that helped us out tremendously is Alex’s Lemonade Stand.  This organization is a very special charity that was started by a little girl that, like Addison battled this horrific disease.  This organization devotes its efforts to funding pediatric cancer research and also helps family’s like mine financially, as they deal with the day to day struggles that this disease brings.   This September 8th, Channel 8 in Cleveland will be doing their annual “Fox Trot” 5K and 1-mile race.  This year’s chosen charity is Alex’s Lemonade Stand and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to them.  Please help my family and my extended Welty family raise money for this great organization by donating to this cause.  And if you can please help out by participating in the Fox Trot on September 8.  You can donate by clicking on the link located in the upper right corner of the fundraiser page and you can also register for the Fox Trot by clicking on the Fox Trot link located above the donation link.  Thank you for your support.
