Those are the dates Nathan was hospitalized while being treated for acute myeloid leukemia (AML). 6 rounds of intense chemotherapy.  A bone marrow transplant from an unrelated donor. 198 days.

The Million Mile is a month-long challenge organized by Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation during September, with the goal to collectively run, walk and/or ride one million miles to raise $1 million to support childhood cancer research.

The original Team Nathan goal was 198 miles to raise $198. In the past few weeks, the team has grown and now has a combined mileage goal of 974 miles. Let's see if that can be matched with $974 in donations for childhood cancer research!
