Hey guys! I've decided to "host" or join a fundraiser this year and it would be great to get your support!

What it is:Alex's Lemonade Stand is a foundation for children's cancer- both the funding of research as well as assisting families that are plagued with it. They put on a fundraiser called The Million Mile, where you partake in outdoor miles in order to raise money! These miles can be anything from biking, running, hiking, walking, whatever!

Where this takes place: Anywhere you'd like it to! It can be done individually, together, during work or school, morning commute, etc!

My goal is to put on 2 meetup hikes so we can get some miles as a team! I'll make one a normal hike (at your discretion if children or elderly can partake) and one family friendly hike that'll be a little easier for the littles!

When: The entire month of September is when the fundraiser takes place. The goal is for the foundation as a whole to complete a million miles, and raise over a million dollars!

How you can help: You can just pledge or donate to the team, spread the word, join the team yourself, or make your own team!

I currently do have a team set up that you can join, called Discover Denver, and I'd love to have your guys' support, however you guys see fit!!
