September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and last year I thought it would be fun to participate in Alex's Million Mile! The goal here is to run, walk, or cycle however many miles you can and add them to my page during the month of September in order to bring awareness about childhood cancer. I loved participating so much, I signed up to do it again this year and I hope you will join me!

Unfortunately, a child is diagnosed with cancer every three minutes. This diagnosis is a huge battle for all involved and Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation helps get funds to a multitude of other organizations that help with research, travel expenses, and even support groups for siblings. I appreciate any dollar given to this fund, but again, the goal is about awareness so whether you are an avid runner or just like to take a small walk at night, IT ALL MATTERS! I'm participating in Alex's Million Mile to help move us closer to finding a cure for childhood cancer and to help bring awareness to a disease I truly hope will no longer exist someday. Thank you for visiting my page and let's get started on a million miles!
