Football Week 8 Update:

Petoskey Varsity Football is now 2 Wins:6 Losses for the season. Besides kicking and punting, I was also playing starting running back for the first two games against two very physically tough teams. I was badly injured and was out for two games, then was able to return to play for kicking and punting only. We are a young team with a new coaching staff that is having a difficult season...it is building character and we are practicing hard to improve every week.

I have had great success in Kick Offs: 12 Touchbacks (one going through the uprights!)with one successful onside kick out of a total of 15 kick offs. I have 100% on PATs (7 out of 7). Our new coaching staff is not allowing field goals very often since the line continues to collapse...I've only had two opportunities and both times the line collapsed before or during contact with the ball. We will continue to fight a good fight until the end!! Our final game is next week against TC West. Thank you for your support!
