My personal goal is 100 miles and $2500 in donations in the month of September. Please help me make this happen. I have two families in mind each day that are doing chemo treatments with their young children and I am at a complete loss as to how to help them. My Uncle Joe passed from Leukemia when I was just 12 and I remember most days of his battle like it was yesterday. I have never been motivated to walk, run or ride aside from finishing basic training. But I mow have a burning desire to use my health to help those without their own.

Every day, there are almost 700 new cases of childhood cancer around the world. This adds up to an estimated 250,000 new cases of cancer affect children under the age of 20 each year worldwide. And yet, childhood cancer is vastly and consistently underfunded with less than 4% of the federal government's total funding for cancer research is dedicated to childhood cancers each year.
