I am 9 days into the Million Mile challenge, 29 of the 100 miles I pledged to run for September ( I realize it shows more, but I went cycling and I haven't figured out how to change the count ). I've been asked why I chose to be a part of this. Honestly, it's the least I can do. I have friends and friends of friends, whose children have been affected by cancer. To say it sucks, doesn't exactly do justice. I am doing what I can, which I feel isn't much, but it's something. And I'm running for a purpose greater than myself, it's a huge motivator.
