childhood cancer affects more than just the child. it leaves behind a whole family that suffers for the rest of their lives. they never "get over" losing a child. every day they are reminded of their loss by their friends and families through their children at something as simple as a birthday party. those parents never get to celebrate those again! then bring on the holidays, it's a lifelong torture for the surviving parents and siblings. the lack of funding for testing child specific cancers is sickening. let's work together to get the funds sent to where they need to be!
