Devin Kelly and Chad Laubacher organized and ran the 1st Echo Hills Alex's Lemonade Stand last year with the help of 8 other Neighborhood kids! They successfully raised over $400 for their cause! They are back at it again and will host a stand on Aug 29th at the Annual Echo Hills Garage Sale. They are hoping to "SQUEEZE" out a few more donations and have set their goal at $500 this year. Devin first heard of Alex's Lemonade Stand a few years ago, helping a friend who was holding one, and thought it was a great cause. He learned Alex's story and told it to his friends - these friends passed it on last year over and over to visitors of the stand. They were amazed when after telling one man the story he paid $20 FOR A COOKIE! They feel they are truly making a difference - even as a kid! This had to be what Alex felt and it has inspired in them to be more generous, more compassionate then they already are! So we hope you will be moved like we were and help today!
