In honor of Sallie Gilmer, our 2 year old neice. She was diagnosed with Lymphoblastic Leukemia in December 2008. She is a strong little lady and taking it all in stride. Throughout all her struggles, she is a dedicated prayer warrior and still has a beaut
When our neice was diagnosed with Leukemia, we all felt the horrible reality of childhood cancer hit home. We decided then that little kids shouldn't have to suffer from life's cruelties such as these. We need to help fund research to find cures for childhood cancer so that our kids can just grow up and enjoy life as kids.

We held our first "Sallie's Lemonade Stand" today. It was awesome! We were outside her aunt's work building, which had great traffic - we were able to talk to a lot of people about Alex's Lemonade Foundation and raised a nice little sum. We are excited to hold more stands throughout the summer and to see Sallie continue to grow and blossom as a beautiful little girl.
A BIG thank you to Carissa and Reuben Ness, my sister and brother in law. They made cookies and came to work the stand with us. They are so loving and caring!
