In 2005, my oldest daughter was visited by Alex Scott's parents during a high school key club fundraiser. From a very young age, my son, Bryce always wanted to have a lemonade stand. Last year, he jumped at the opportunity when K12 embraced Alex's Lemonade Stand's mission. He participated last year and had a great time supporting finding a cure for childhood cancer. He reflected often and eagerly awaited this year's celebration of Alex Scott and what she stood for. Besides caring enough to make a difference in the life of another child, he thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience of running a lemonade stand last summer.
