On April 15th a friend's daughter, Lucy Littlefield (born January 29, 2009), was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. Since that time I've been reading updates on her condition, posted daily to Facebook, as she undergoes treatment at Children's Hospital. On May 26th, they found out little Lucy was going to begin chemotherapy. The prayers and support seem to keep everyone going. Lucy, along with her parents Scott and Kristen and other friends and family participated in this year's Lemonade Days. Their success with the stand and strength to keep pushing for a cure has inspired me to run in Lucy's honor and to form a team to raise funds to help support their battle. UPDATE: Lucy is cancer free!
