Valentine Hills 2nd Graders are holding a fundraiser to help Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation move one step closer to finding a cure for all children with cancer! You can help by coming to the VH Carnival and Dance on February 8 and buying a tasty cup of lemonade. You can also help by making a donation right to this page. The money you donate will pay for research to find better treatments and cures for childhood cancer.

Every day, there are almost 700 new cases of childhood cancer around the world. This adds up to an estimated 250,000 new cases of cancer affect children under the age of 20 each year worldwide. And yet, childhood cancer is vastly and consistently underfunded with less than 4% of the federal government's total funding for cancer research is dedicated to childhood cancers each year.
