Hello and welcome to the 6th annual A&A Lemonade Stand fundraiser page. Thanks to the generosity of friends and family, Alexandra and Avery's lemonade stands have raised $6,900 for childhood cancer research! That money has been used to fund 138 hours of research. Amazing, thank you all!

Why we do this : Every year, an estimated 250,000 new cases of cancer affect children under the age of 20.  That is 700 new kids affected every day.  As we looked further into this, we found that all types of childhood cancer combined, only receive 4% of U.S. federal funding for cancer research.  Shocking, right?  Our family was directly affected by this epidemic in 1987, when our cousin, Robert Venditelli, lost his battle with childhood cancer.
