Alex Scott was the inspiration that motivated our office to become involved in Lemonade Days. She was brave and courageous. Through her resilient positivity, she made her world a better place for those around her; she was a fighter and one of our very own in District 17. By hosting our annual Lemonade Day, we honor her and her fight. Supporting childhood cancer research is imperative and it is important that we constantly move towards finding a cure. On Lemonade Days, community members are able to come together raise both money and awareness for pediatric cancer research, all while remembering Alex’s journey.
