Since inception of the Million Mile, our team Million Mile Maniacs has been in the top 10 out of 1,000 teams in the the Million Mile event.  In fact, we were the first team created.  See where www.MillionMile.org takes you if you don't believe me :) . We welcome anyone and everyone to join us as we  run, walk and cycle and raise as much money as possible to help kids with cancer.

It doesn't matter if you can only go 1 mile or raise $1(it might be the dollar that finds a cure) in the month of September, as a team we will go far and raise lots of money.

Facts- Every year, an estimated 263,000 new cases of cancer affect children under the age of 20 worldwide. That's 720 new kids affected every day. And yet, childhood cancer is vastly and consistently underfunded. Less than 5% of the federal government's total funding for cancer research is dedicated to childhood cancers each year.
