University Children's Center's Preschool class read the book Alex and the Amazing Lemonade Stand after a child (whose parent is a pediatric cancer researcher) brought the book to school to share for storytime and we realized that this is something we could do as a classroom to give back! Our school is affiliated with Chicago's Northwestern University and hopsital which is another perfect reason to get our parents and families involved! Please help our kids provide desperately needed hope and give back to children with cancer and their families.
