It should not seem so far-fetched that one day we can view this cause as not just special - but successful. Yes, it's a strong cause, but no, it's not successful. Not until the need for this cause no longer exists, and that's why your support is so dire. Instead of the coffees, the magazines, the wines, the nicknacks we all buy...even that discounted pair of shoes...help a child. Even though times are tough, it gets no tougher for these kids and their families. While it sounds cliche' to say that every penny counts, you know as well as I that when those pennies are dollars, five dollars, ten dollars, more...it adds up fast when people are passionate. You'd want that kind passion and fight in your corner, so please donate whatever you feel comfortable. No, wait...go a little beyond that. It's that important.
