This September, I will Be Bold & Go Gold during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month by participating in The Million Mile. 

I can't do a lot, but I CAN do something! My goal is to walk 1 mile each day for a total of 30 miles, but I don't want to let anyone down, so I've posted a goal of 15 miles. I'll be walking mostly around my town of Stoneham, MA, but I'll walk wherever I happen to be. I may not walk the whole mile all at once.  I may use my walker some days. But I'm determined to contribute to the Million Mile!

I'm inspired by the courage and kindness of little Alex Scott, the bravery and determination of 2005 Preakness Winner Afleet Alex, and the commitment of Iron Chef Alex Guarnaschelli.

And my dear friend LynsayJayne is my team mate! Even though we're 3000 miles apart, on opposite sides of the Atlantic, we are both walking to help children with cancer and their families.
