For two years my family and friends have run Alex's lemonade Stand. This year, I am gathering all the information and doing all the collecting for my church service project. Five years ago my mother had cancer and because money raised through cancer research she is cancer free. A little boy at my mother's school got cancer again when he was 4 years old for the second time. He got a bone marrow transplant and he too is cancer free! We just went to a carnival to celebrate his health. Because people raised money for childhood cancer they made this possible. That is why I want to help raise money for childhood cancer, so no children will have to suffer because of this cancer.
