Please join me in raising money for a cause that’s very close to my family’s heart! As most of you know, my mom, Pat Brophy, was a nurse practitioner who dedicated her life to the fight against childhood cancer. She treated Alex Scott and many other children with cancer before losing her own battle to cancer in 2008. In our own small way, my family continues my mom’s mission by supporting Alex’s Lemonade Stand, and fundraising for this family-friendly, fun event. That’s a lot of money for pediatric cancer research, which is seriously underfunded. I hope to see some familiar faces again this year, and would love to see some new ones!
