Having a friend and coworker whose daughter lost her courageous battle with cancer earlier this year, we were compelled to reach out and do something. All of us it seems are touched by cancer in one way or another, but for children it seems that much more senseless and cruel. Hearing the story behind Alex’s Lemonade Stand seemed like the perfect way by raising awareness and money for Childhood Cancer Research. Amanda King inspired us; we do this in MEMORY and in HONOR of her and all the other children who are fighting the battle.
