This September is incredibly special to our family Escher is almost one year off treatment and cancer free. Honestly whenever I think about it I well up with tears of joy. However there is not a day that my heart doesn't hurt for the millions of children suffering the pain of treatment and lasting side effects or the gut-wrenching reality that so many do not survive.
