After hearing the courageous and inspiring story of Alexandra "Alex" Scott, I could not help but try to continue her legacy in whatever small way I could. She dedicated her life to helping other children win their battles with childood cancer. Although she was taken far too soon at the young age of 8 years old, she was able to see her dream of raising $1 million to help others in their own struggle. Alex was 4 years old when she built her first stand, and she raised $2,000. Now, after the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation has raised over $25 million, she has left the world with the important task of continuing her dream of helping to cure all children of the very disease that took her life.
