Alex's Lemonade Stand is a great organization that funds research projects to help find cures for childhood cancers. They also have a travel program that helps families that have to travel for treatment. Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer.  It is not rare but the National Cancer Institute gives only 4% of its funds to all of the types of childhood cancers. Kids get different types of cancers than adults do and they do not have nearly as many approved treatments. Support the kids with a donation of any amount and help move us closer to finding a cure for all children with cancer!
