Dear Friends and Family,
I recently learned about a little girl named Alex who died of cancer when she was 8 years old. At the age of 4, Alex decided to hold a lemonade stand to raise money for pediatric cancer research. I feel lucky to be so healthy and want to raise money for kids who aren’t as fortunate as I am.
This is the second year that I am holding a lemonade stand in Alex's honor during my neighborhood block party. I have raised over $1,000 since starting my fundraising efforts last year. In addition to the block party, I raised money by having my friends donate to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation instead of bringing gifts to my birthday party. I am glad I can be a part of finding a cure for childhood cancer.
The picture here is from my stand last year. I was lucky to have some of my neighborhood friends help out with my stand too.
Since you probably can't be at my lemonade stand in person, I hope that you will consider making a donation to the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.
Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my fundraising efforts. Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
Lots of love,
Nicholas xo
