Childhood cancer has just become way too popular in my mind. Last year, a friend of mine shared that her daughter (a 6 year-old just like my son) was battling Leukemia. Then, shortly after that, I was told a student of mine (a 7 year old) was also battling the dreaded disease. I have also had clients who lost children to tumors/childhood cancers - which, in my mind, should not happen to children. THAT is now my motivation to fight back! Join my family and I as we run our first 5K (and I've never run before in my life!) as our attempt to join the fight against childhood cancers. Your support is greatly appreciated.
